Associate attorney Darren Bevan has several years of litigation experience, effectively administering cases and protecting client interests. He assists community associations in amending, interpreting and enforcing covenants, conditions, and restrictions (CC&Rs), and other governing documents for the common interest developments they manage. Mr. Bevan has extensive experience working with forensic experts in real estate appraisal, accounting and corporate valuation. Additionally, he assists individuals and families with their estate planning and probate needs, emphasizing long-term asset protection.

Mr. Bevan attended the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, and received his Juris Doctor in 2001. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with Minors in English and Political Science from the University of California, Davis.

At McGeorge, Mr. Bevan was actively involved in clinical programs, serving as a Governing Board Member at Community Legal Services. His case management was varied and extensive, ranging from litigation in the United States Bankruptcy Court to unlawful detainer actions, probate and wills, family law and formation of non-profit corporations. He was also a member of McGeorge’s American Bar Association interview and client counseling competition team. Since law school, he has also served on an executive committee of the California State Bar Association.

In addition to his admission to the California State Bar, he is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Eastern District of California, and the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
